About

Times are computed on your device from the IANA time zone database.

The site answers the same jobs as a world clock reference: local time in a named city, the offset from UTC, the next clock change, the public holidays, sunrise and moon phase, and a live forecast. There is no account and no calculation server of ours.

Sun and moon times use the city's coordinates. Eclipse dates and regions are quoted from NASA GSFC. Public holidays come from the date-holidays dataset, generated when the site is built. Weather is fetched in the browser from Open-Meteo. One UTC check may run against TimeAPI.io or Cloudflare when the page loads, only to warn if this computer's clock is more than 30 seconds off.

An individual publishes World Date and Time at worlddateandtime.com. Write to [email protected].

The site may show Google ads. Privacy and terms explain cookies, consent in the UK and EEA, and the limits of the clocks.
